It probly depends on what mission it is to. Tachs are probly worse than pulses at vengeange but better at the blockade for instance. Think I will go for both and change acording to the mission just as I use blasters on the Kronos for some missions.

I forgot to write that I use an alt in an hurricane for salvaging and gang bonuses and is currently mission running in an Kronos. I use the tractor beams move the wrecks closer to each other for faster salvaging. Cant fly a Nightmare

I think they should change it slots layout to 8/3/8 and change the repper bonus to an mwd cap bonus like the thorax. It basically becomes a larger thorax then. With the setup below it would last around 2-3 min with everything running so cap might ...

I think blasters should be an exception to "Smaller stuff goes under the guns" philosophy. You go away from blasters for protection, not closer. Blasters should get a big tracking boost, even battleships should be able to hit cruisers, not very go...
